Years of being an entrepreneur allow you to go through different phases. Each phase may be more complicated than the other. While others may have stopped after just a year. Others managed to thrive, embrace all their fears, and take every challenge as a step closer towards their goal.
In my line of work, I share my own experience and other entrepreneurs. Because even if I have been in the business for almost 35 years, I am still learning from others. I am genuinely grateful that I get to touch many people’s lives with the skills that I am blessed with. I take pride in that I have genuinely seen their growth.
As you know, my passion is to help people. The number of talks that I have had has further increased my desire to reach out to more people. Because I believe that we can make a huge difference in our lives if we start to believe in ourselves, allow and get things done the way they should be. It’s never easy, but we can all make it with strong faith.
The Realization
In every situation, we are given options. It is up to us to choose which way to go. Unfortunately, some of our initial choices do not materialize as perfectly as we have hoped for. However, this is not a sign that we should just stop, turn our back, and walk away. There is always a chance to make up and make better choices by focusing on the bigger picture and jotting down all the possibilities. We need to distinguish the pros and cons of every decision we make to help us choose the best options.
We all started taking the first step. We know that there are many more steps to take before getting to where we want to be. But for, every effort is a challenge that we must learn to work ourselves into. Here is one thing I have learned: nothing really happens by accident. Every little bump, everything that I did throughout my journey, led me to where I am today, just as I am sure that the path will widen in the future.
Asking yourself “why” for every decision that you make will enable you to realize the real purpose of what you intend to do. What I mean by this is that when you start each step asking all the “why’s,” you start rationalizing and identifying which should be prioritized. In this way, you can easily find your direction to keep you on track.
I have witnessed a significant number of startups. They have in common that they are one hundred percent committed to their businesses. Whether they are aware of whether they will succeed, they always give their all as they focus their eyes on the prize. Thus, it is safe to say that you need to put your heart into it and be always ready to give your all to be in any kind of business.
There is nothing in this world that we can say is perfect. And at some point, our business gets broken. The brokenness in startups is due to an ineffective team. We know that people are flawed one way or another. The founders themselves can be brash and hard-headed that the people working for him may find it difficult to cooperate with. Unfortunately, we all have a certain level of brokenness, but that is alright as long as we know that. However, we also reach a certain point wherein we are quick to transform and rise to the challenge of self-improvement. Hence, gathering a group of people with different personalities is a challenge, but working on how their minds can unite to help the business grow is an outstanding achievement. And with the improvement of these founders, the business flow will become smoother.

Failures are part of any startup. You must realize that people run these startups and can all make mistakes. But through these failures, they learn and grow. This enables them to see a better perspective as they rise in value. Doing things repeatedly makes one realize that there could be a hundred possibilities. Time-consuming? Probably. But, why choose to make such hasty decisions when you can take your time and focus on creating what is best for the business? Remember, “Rome was not built in a day.”
Center your thoughts on what you have to do. And stay away from people who seem to always negate all your decisions. You don’t need to announce how great or successful you have become to the whole world. Just be a humble person and let your products and/or services speak for you. I believe in the saying that “what goes around comes around.” Never lose your faith and focus.
The entrepreneurial journey is a rough and bumpy road. But once you get through all these, it’s more than having more in the bank. The happiness and satisfaction that you feel are just immeasurable. To sum it up, a successful entrepreneur is one with aggressive cleverness. Gets tons of rejections embrace failures, and believes that all these need to happen to reach their goal and stay on top.
